Overview
These instructions describe how to make a sparkling/carbonated water dispensing system at home.
How It Works
Section titled “How It Works”In summary, you run a water line from a sink, through an inline filter, then into a keg with a specialty lid. CO₂ is continuously connected to the keg. The output goes to a faucet or beer tap. The system will refill and recarbonate itself as you dispense cold, refreshing sparkling water!
You’ll need a refrigerator to put this system in, and the supplies listed in the Shopping section.

System Overview
Section titled “System Overview”The system consists of three main components:
- Water Supply System: Connects your sink’s cold water line through a filter to the keg
- Carbonation System: Uses CO₂ pressure to carbonate the water continuously
- Dispensing System: A faucet or tap to dispense the carbonated water
All components are housed in a refrigerator to keep the water cold, which improves carbonation and provides refreshing cold water on demand.
